Dr Charlie Murray completed his undergraduate studies at Cambridge University and then his clinical training at the Royal London
Hospitals NHS Trust (which is now St Bartholomews & the Royal London NHS Trust). He is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Clinical Lead for Endoscopy at the The Royal Free Hospital in London. He specialises in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, endoscopy, nutrition and functional gastrointestinal disorders. He also works at The Wellington Hospital and The London Clinic
The Royal Free Hospital gastroenterology department serves a large population of patients with IBD in North London and has a long history of research and innovative service provision in the care of patients.
The team consists of four Consultant Gastroenterologists, a Nurse Consultant and a dedicated inflammatory bowel disease nurse, as well as expert surgical and radiological colleagues. State of the art endoscopy services and diagnostics mean up to date investigation and management and the best evidence based treatments.
Close links with The Wellington GI Unit allow the team to provide the highest quality of care and continuation of the multidisciplinary approach to care in the private sector.
