Adeola Olaitan is lead for Gynaecological Cancer and Chair of North London Gynaecological Tumour Board. Her clinical specialist interests include Gynaecological Oncology, Colposcopy and Rapid Access Assessment of Suspected Cancer.
Miss Olaitan works at the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at University College Hospital and privately at The Portland Hospital and at The Harley Street Clinic.
Miss Olaitan was appointed as Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at the University College London Hospital, the gynaecological cancer centre for the North London Cancer Network, in January 2002.
She obtained her Medical Degree from University College Hospital London where she was distinguished with a certificate of merit in surgery. As part of her training in obstetrics and gynaecology, she worked in many of London’s leading hospitals. She underwent sub-specialty training in gynaecological oncology at St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol.
Miss Olaitan is an accredited minimally invasive surgeon and offers women the minimally invasive approach for gynaecological cancer where appropriate. She is also accredited in colposcopy and undertakes clinics at UCLH.
