Consults at the BMI Clementine Churchill Hospital, Bupa Cromwell Hospital and Ealing Hospital NHS Trust.
Samantha Tross is one of only a few female Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing in England. She graduated from University College London in 1992. Her surgical training was obtained at a number of London Teaching hospitals including St. Georges Hospital, The Royal London and Guys & St Thomas's. She also received Fellowship training overseas at world renowned centres in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia, gaining further experience in Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement, Computer assisted Arthroplasty, Hip Resurfacing and Knee arthroscopy. More recently she has trained in Hip Arthroscopy.
Miss Tross is also actively involved in teaching and is currently an Examiner for medical school finals for Imperial College London. She is also involved in running Basic Surgical Skills Courses in Africa in conjunction with the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
Miss Tross is a Member of the British Hip Society and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Case Reports.
Miss Tross’s philosophy for the management of her patients is to treat the patient as well as the pathology, with an emphasis on the delivery of high quality and efficient care.
